Shane Bernard-Bio of Sorts

Shane has over 30 years experience in various aspects of industrial automation with his roots in offshore oil and gas production for Chevron USA.  His career began on the technical side as an operator, electrician, technician, engineering assistant, project engineer and project manager.  Shane’s unique view of automation stems from an eccentric career journey which includes working for an end client, engineering firms, systems integration firms, a dot-com “busted” company and a brief stint to the “Dark Side” of product sales.   

Since 2009, Shane manages Business Development for Avid Solution in Winston Salem.  He and his wife Cindy, future backyard lunatic farmers*, enjoy living in North Carolina and have three lovely adult daughters!
